We have recorded our second album for you!

Released in April 2024, it contains mostly our original songs and we put our best into it. We believe that you will be delighted, surprised and happy to come back to it.

New Aliquot plays bluegrass, new acoustic, and folk music. The repertoire consists of original songs, instrumental compositions, and special arrangements of some less-known roots music songs. The band was formed in 2016 when Pavel Duda (bass) joined Ondra Kozák (guitar), Vítek Hanulík (mandolin), and Karel Začal (dobro) who previously were members of the band “Křeni” (#1 European Bluegrass Band at the La Roche Bluegrass Festival 2009). All band members gained numerous experiences with award-winning bands and music professionals. New Aliquot won the 2nd prize in the band contest at the La Roche Bluegrass Festival in 2019 and released their first album It Takes Time the same year. The second album Keep Going came out in 2024. The band organizes annual music workshops “Zlatohorská hudební horečka” and “Bluegrass Vegas” in Jeseníky Mountains (Czech Republic) where the band members reside.
